The call of the wild puzzle
I've been shanghai'd by Puzzle Pirates. Link. I've been hearing about it from random sources - including Evil Stevie himself - for a while. Finally a couple of friends of mine sucked us into it. The company that makes it just recently added a micropayments model to their previous (quite reasonable) $10/mo subscription model. Since I might go for a while without playing, this is a good idea (I basically only pay for the time I play, and basic gameplay is FREE 
Anyway, that's why I haven't been blogging much. As a different friend (who I sucked back in) said "My condolences on the recent loss of your free time".
Edited to follow-up: Please note, I recently reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled, mainly because I couldn't get the JVM to work properly, and this is a Java-based game
