From the cell phone geek test @ CNet (via Howardforums , of course) Cell phone geek Face it--you're a cell phone geek. On one hand, it's great that you take the time to know about the technology as you can dispense valuable advice to friends and family. But cell phones aren't the be-all and end-all of human existence, and there's more to life than knowing the differences between Motorola and Nokia. Monday I ordered it, wednesday I received it. It is a Audiovox PPC601, the latest in sonverged phone/pocket pc devices. It replaces an elderly iPAQ and a separate phone. It is (to me anyway) unutterably cool to be able to surf the net at fast dialup speeds on a device that fits in my shirt pocket, pretty much wherever I am, as long as I can get a data signal (which is just about everywhere except my apartment, dammit). The article I linked to tells you ain a few relatively easy steps how to convert a disposable flash-equipped camera into a rough-and ready stun-gun. Note that some of the logic behind gun-control legislation would call for a ban on flash-equipped disposable cameras as being convertible to offensive uses, and no doubt the TSA will start banning them in carry-on luggage.

Heh. OK - this is a pretty cheesy post, really just a link. But I think it's nifty, so I'm publicising it.
